Looks cool, If I was going for a rugged setup instead of a street style look I'd be interested in these.

Looks like a big hole in the front bumper that could mount a winch or a light bar. Hopefully they have a winch solution soon.
Embedding a winch requires replacing the crash bar. Having it on the outside means relocating the camera if you want to retain the 360 camera. Both of these facts are part of the reason no winch option exists.

Plus, taking the bumpers off the Rivians is a lot of work. Would not be surprised if they end up with complaints from DIY'ers that get in over their heads.

Sounds like—other than the one they built/dreamt/planned—Rivian just didn't produce the customer R1s to be that extreme.

Potentially interesting, but really needs to support a 12k+ winch. The high clearance looks good, but wonder how much range you'll give up by doing that. One of the gnarly obstacles I tried climbing I was rubbing the plastic in front of the front tires and opted to bail rather than sending it.

personally I don't want a winch, so if this is reasonably priced and improves approach/departure angles, I am probably an interested buyer.

I think I'd yank the air suspension, do a coil over conversion and slap 37's on for the next Rubicon.....
Once I get some aftermarket bumpers and over 60k miles... Party on

So, is it just me, or does it look like they’ve removed the recovery points? Looking at their website they have a lot of pictures up now, and you can clearly see the factory recovery points aren’t there. I don’t see any replacement points. What are others seeing?

Wouldn't building a trailer hitch receiver into the front and pre-wiring both ends for a winch plate that fit the receiver be a straight-forward thing for Rivian to do? They could then just let the aftermarket world handle winch offerings. Has anyone ever inspected the one winch-capable prototype Rivian did?

Any reason why this wouldn't fit the R1S front end? I see no indication why it wouldn't. Nice to see the new photos and someone at least pushing for aftermarket bumpers. Would love to see if they could design a full headlight protection that wraps around the front end.
