This ultimately is the reason I got rid of it. It's more work driving 3 hours at highway speed in a Rubicon than the most harrowing off roading.driving a Wrangler across the country really sucks.
You probably already know this but the difference between the R1S and R1T off road is significant. 15" of wheelbase is better for towing but not conducive to rock crawling, which is why the R1T could not complete the Rubicon. This is as important as the lift on your Jeep. If you had a 2 door Jeep your R1T had a 40" longer wheelbase (20" for the unlimited), which no amount of lift will negate.
Edit: It amazes me that people are claiming the CyberTruck's prowess off road as its wheelbase is 145" (!!!!). No thank you.
