Couple of questions for those with a chase lease. My buddy is considering picking up a tri-motor before the tax credit expires.

1) Does the lease come with a fixed residual value for the vehicle at the end of the lease?

2) Has anyone bought out their lease early? If there is no fixed residual value in the lease how did they calculate the buyout?

Responses are appreciated, any tips to keep in mind through the process from your experience is welcome as well.

1) Yes, when you get your lease (after you complete your Tasks and provide your down payment), it will have a fixed residual value

2) Yes, there are a number of threads on here about people who did buyout immediately (and some of the pro/con to doing so). My lease showed up on my Chase account about a week after I took delivery, and you can click through some prompts to get a buyout quote and it has instructions on how to do so. So seems pretty straightforward if that is the path you want to go.
