Does anyone have tire tread depth measurements for these after 10-15k?

As an update, I was able to reset my tires in the settings and the speedometer is now off by 1 mph vs Google maps. Trying to remember if the Pirelli’s were also off by 1 mph. Better than the 3-4 mph I was off by originally after changing the tires in the app anyway.

As an aside, I tested my Jeep Wrangler and it’s spot on with Google maps.

Anyone else that’s changed their tires in the settings have this issue as well? Curious what you’re seeing in Google maps vs speedometer.

It depends on speed, I am off about 1 mph, which was better than my factory 21's were. It is even 1 mph at triple digits.

I think I have read all the posts on this mega thread!

Considering changing to the Goodyears now vs. waiting a bit (11K miles on new to me '23 R1T - I'm 3 weeks in). The Pirelli Scorpions have 7/32 and 8/32 tread left (rear vs. front). To me the tires are pretty loud and the handling seems heavy as compared to my Lightning and previous Raptors.

I think I could likely get another 6K or 7K miles out of them, but am debating why wait. I'll likely have this R1T for maybe 12 to 18 months and possibly 15K miles. I'll need to replace them at some point during my ownership.

Based on all my reading - The Goodyears seem to deliver on less noise, better efficiency, and I think a "lighter" steering feel. Road trip coming up next week and my friendly tire shop can get them ordered and installed this week.

Crazy idea?

I've been driving a R1S quad loaner. It has the 22's on it. Honestly, I can't wait to get my truck back. It rides so horribly compared to my truck with the GY's on it. It is like the ride quality is off by 1 setting compared to my truck.

For example, on the S, sport lowest is pretty much unusable. The ride is horrendous on our roads. So if I am in sport low, it is like my sport lowest but slight worse. If I go to AP standard height, it rides like my truck does in sport low, and so on.

The tires aren't any quieter than my GYs. Efficiency seems pretty close but again different trucks. About 45-60 mph, I think the 22's are a touch more efficient, at higher speeds, I can't really tell the difference. The 22's don't give anywhere near the feedback of the 20" GYs.

The steering seems a bit lighter than my 20's but with a lot less "feel". I don't even want to go into how I feel about the general dynamics of the S vs the T, but I am so glad I bought the T. The porpoising on the S is still there. It leans more in turns. The only thing I'll give it over my truck is a slightly tighter turning radius and a bit shorter, so some areas are easy to park.

Hate to say this, but if I needed an SUV and wasn't going off-road, I'd buy the Lucid Gravity over the R1S in a heartbeat. I feel like they got the R1T pretty much dead on, but with the S, they didn't do quite as good as a job.

I miss my Goodyears and my truck. At least I did get a Rivian as a loaner so I'll count my blessings.

So I did rotate mine at 6200 and discount tire had said before the rotation the fronts were at 7 & 6/32 and both rears at 9. I think they didn’t measure correctly. I’m just over 10k now and measured myself and the fronts are both 9/32 and both rears 8/32. I’m pretty happy with that so far.

Do you know what you started with? How does this math out?

GY is wrong on the site. I think they are just over 10/32s.

Maybe at @B Digs can confirm.
Hi all, I've been asking Goodyear to update the website, but no luck so far. The new tire tread depth for the Rivian tire is approximately 10.8/32nds.

I like your idea of upgrading the tires sooner rather than later to better enjoy your R1T now!

Exactly! New shoes this Friday! I was looking at the tire config in the R1T - can you clarify which tires I select once I get these on? Thank you!

Great decision!

I believe the Goodyear Wrangler Territory AT is listed under all the different 20" wheel options. Here are some images of the software options...

Figured I'd share some pics of the new tires for people on the fence. I was about 30k miles on the Pirelli ATs and decided to try out the Goodyears. They are smoother and quieter for now, but will see with age how they do. Efficiency seems about the same, maybe slightly better but it's hard to tell with the recent hot weather.
Very happy with them, especially at the price point.
