ha - true ! I have a set of 20s with Hakkas for the winter, so these are just for half the year. Also fwiw, Discount Tire does have both the pirellis and michelins in stock for the 21s

On the wheel tire theme I got my tri max with the 22s but really need some 20s with 34s now. Nothing on market place. Looking for 20” dark all-terrains. Is it worth the cost to buy from Rivian? It seems their wheel set price is pretty on par for any aftermarket set that’s similar.

I'm seeing $5,400 on the Rivian Gear shop for a set of 20" AT darks with 34" Pirellis. On discount tire's website, you can get a set of glossy black MSW Type 52 wheels with 34" Toyo OC A/T III EVs for about $3,300 (including TPMS).

I have some EVSportline R800 wheels in bronze if interested. They have Falken Wildpeaks in 34” on them.

If you have the 22” range wheels I’d also be interested in trading or buying those off you!

+1 for EVSportline's tire packages. That's where I got the wheels (R1000) and hakkas for winter. They come fully inflated and balanced, with TPMS, for a price that was (at least at the time), better than Rivian - in about a week. Add the bottlejack, and it's a relatively easier twice/year task to switch them out with the all weathers for summer. I go to the mountains a lot in winter, and the Hakkas make a massive difference when it's sketchy, although they have tons of other tire packages to suit.

Thanks for the option. I’ll check them out. My concern will be getting wheels and tires spec’d for the load rating too.

I thought about those but my R1S is sliver and would prefer black. I also really like the factory 20 all terrains

Anyone here completed their purchase recently? How long did it take you to get plates (Denver DMV)?

I'm 2 months with my Dune and still not a word from the DMV. Luckily I have AZ temp plates, so have another month to go. My last title complete notice came in much more quickly.

For those interested in the Slate EV, it will be *somewhere* in Denver this Sunday, 8/3. Unless it's a total PIA to get to, I plan to go check it out. I doubt I will buy a Slate, but I like what they are trying to do...

I have found out that Denver DMV is currently working on paperwork received June 12 - so there is almost a 2 month backlog for Denver County.
