Will R1 Cargo Crossbars fit R2

I've been thinking about buying cargo crossbars for my R1T, but I'm also considering trading my R1 for an R2. Does anyone know if the cargo crossbars are compatible between R1 and R2?

Ugh...thanks for the replym. I'm loathe to spend $800 on gear that I can't use if I sell the truck. I ran into that when I sold my Tesla.

They show up used on the marketplace at a good discount fairly often. No need to buy new.

Looks like they will, here is a picture from the web, the mounts looked the same as on my R1S when I saw the demo in Pasadena.

Can't believe they wouldn't since they extend to work on my R1. I just assumed they would close and fit the R2-R7.

Yes they fit. I used my son-in-law’s R1T Gen 1 bars on my Gen 2 R1S.

I think it's a relatively safe bet that they would fit, but remember that Rivian has teased power delivery through the mounts (for the Tree House) so the current bars have zero chance of supporting that feature.
