Correct yes, it will cure faster with heat (sunlight or heat gun) but it cures without it too, just slower.@twraps I'm thinking about installing this today, my truck is wet from the rain so I figure I can at least clay bar my windshield and get it really clean. It needs time to cure in the sun, right? But that can happen over the next week and doesn't need to go out in the warm/sun immediately, correct?
Please let me know how it went...
Remember -> 1) window needs to be cool not warm/hot. 2) use PLENTY of soapy water any area that you left while working on another (say driver/passenger side) lift up and re-spray before you continue to it, just like I did in my video. What this video did not show was that this was my 2nd attempt. On the first attempt I did the passenger side first then went to just squeegee the driver side and I had bubbles all over the place. So I ripped it off and installed a new one where before I squeegeed I lift the film up again and re-spray thoroughly, and now it's OK.
