Reviews like this keep coming in and making it harder to keep the awful stock ATs. I hate buying new tires while the existing ones have tread on them though.I just did slightly under 900 miles on my R1T going between San Francisco and LA. We took 101 down and I5 back. Up until the last 200 miles, we were getting about 2.2-2.5 miles/kWh on the trip which is about 10-12% better than the original Pirelli's. During the last 200 miles we were driving directly into a 20+ MPH headwind and the overall trip efficiency dropped to about 2.16 according to the trip computer.
On the original tires, it used to be 200 miles range at 70% SoC, and now the computer is saying about 214 miles at that sale 70%.
Between improved efficiency, no more screaming howl, a nice looking sidewall, and about $200 cheaper than the Pirelli's, these tires are a winner in my book.
Trying to convince the wife I need to get a new set this November to survive the Buffalo Winters with good tread. We'll see if I'm successful in that endeavor though. Until then, I get to live with the howl
