My name is Mike, and I have a (car) problem
FYI - took me 200 miles to figure it out, but it turns out the interior attention camera is disabled by default in the 2026MY T (and presumably S), and must be turned on in Privacy settings before you can use enhanced D+ features (hands off, eyes on).

FWIW a notification will pop up on the dash at some point, but it's not there long enough for me to register it while driving at 70mph.

Default was ON for my 2025MY S.

Thought I was going nuts for the first few drives. Then, worse, I was afraid D+ was borked on my truck. Hope this helps someone else.

When I got my 2025 S DM the guide told me I had to enabled it in privacy settings if I wanted to use enhanced driver assist.

Some states mandate this, and it makes sense to be disabled by default.

What made this particularly odd is that both of my vehicles were purchased in CA, and I don't believe the regulations changed in the period of time between cars (3 months).

Rivian might just turn it off by default everywhere just to keep things simple. I can't imagine that there are some states that would mandate that interior cameras be turned on by default!
