Agreed. I own 4 Samsung smart watches. Don't even know where they are right now...
1 for 1 - Apple Watch Ultra 1 is my daily watch. Also have a Garmin for running/hiking/skiing only.
I've bought a google pixel watch, and prior to that a Samsung galaxy watch which were both terrible and have been wearing an Apple Ultra 2 since the day it came out (and also move phone ecosystem as a result). I'll likely keep doing so until they release a model thats sufficiently tempting to make me part with the cash again.

Yeah, this is Apple's strongpoint - embedding their products tightly into their ecosystem. You pair it once and it just works. Samsung and Google are trying, but Apple still is superior here.
This is why i wont switch from Apple. My windows stuff can pair with my phone but it’s a massive pain in my ass. My MacBook works with my phone seamlessly. For watches I have a Garmin because I want to charge once a month not once a day. Although right now I’m wearing a watch that winds instead of charges. Won’t be able to unlock my car with it though.
