Hey there! Long time listener, first time caller. I make Overlanding videos on YouTube channel and just posted a rig walkthrough. I talk through some of the upgrades I've made and review a few new products. I have been using the Decked Drawer system for quite a while and give my feelings so far. I also walk though the center molle panel from Electrified Overland. Loved the extra storage the system gave me. They put a plastic drawer in the bed and a rack over it to attach shit to. It makes overlanding to their reserved campsite a breeze.

Great video! I'm worried about odometers reading between 20,000 and 40,000 miles? Are there any R1Ts that have already reached high mileage?

Thanks! So I’m a very early VIN. #149, and I just passed 60k so I can talk a little about that. And I’ll start by saying that my truck is in service currently and they have quoted me around 7k+ in repairs. So I fear this is going to be life outside of warranty for me with this truck. All my cameras and screens stopped working in that order which has required an AXM module replacement. They have worked with me on the price and removed the labor charge, but it’s still crazy expensive. My charging port also needs to be replaced and that is a hefty price tag also. Around $3200.

So I’m worried. My wife’s model 3 is several years older and has not needed any repairs outside of regular recall items. As things continue to break and need to be replaced, I could see this costing on average $5k per service visit.

I hear ya. I'll write up some of the details and post them here soon. I have recently switched over to a canopy camper and will be giving an update on my experiences with that soon.

Was the module that need replaced
MODULE - ECU; ADAS; ASM (Part# PT00000036-M)? If so, they should have previously replaced this proactively due toField Service Alert FSAM-1579.
