Middle Row Armrest/Cup Holder Not Level?

Why isn't this flat? Is there a built-in leg or something I'm not seeing that would make the drinks and armrest level?

That shows you far forward your second row seatbacks are leaning.

Your armrest is working fine.

No one sit in a car with the seatback position forward as your picture show.

Slightly tilt the seatback backwards where sitting in it would be comfortable...maybe half an inch or more and the armrest will rest in a normal position off of the seat.
