Space adds up fast, especially on long drives.

We’ve seen folks stash snacks in the armrest, door pockets, or even custom organizers.

Where’s your go-to spot to keep food handy (without creating a mess)?

I put my box of truck snacks on the level area in front of the camp speaker.

Exactly. No food allowed. Can have a snack when we stop to plug in or bathroom (but only outside of truck), you know, when you tell your kids to P before you leave and then 10 mins into the trip they say they have to go. Ugh! They can have a snack then. And then only.

I always take supplies with me on trips up into the Rockies. I do that even when I have no intention of going off road. Food is in a cooler bag on the floor behind the seats. It’s in the frunk if we have our dogs. Candy and gum are always in the center arm rest.

In the winter, I even take extra water and an electric kettle. There is always an opportunity to enjoy a coffee in the snow.

I am ocd about my cars being clean. No food or drinks inside the car. If I was doing a long trip, I might keep some snacks in the back but would still not eat inside the car.

Either on the area twixt the armrest and dash (it probably has a technical name, but I don't know what that is) or behind the driver's seat in a grocery bag hanging from the hook thoughtfully provided by Rivian engineers. It is one of the co-pilot/navigator's duties to reach back to get snacks or drinks as desired by the driver. Waste products (empty wrappers and suchlike) are tossed over the driver's right shoulder to land in the dog zone for potential future recovery.

We have a lot of bears around our house and all of the places we go traveling so no food in the cars.
