Report a physically damaged RAN charger?

I hardly ever charge away from home, so apologize in advance if I'm missing something obvious.

Was at the Tysons Corner RAN earlier this week and 4 of 6 stations were offline. A bit annoying since the location is so new. When one finally became available when I pulled the handle out, the entire insert that holds the charger plug came out, and had a hole in the bottom that looked melted or broken:

For lack of anything else, I posted a picture on Plugshare. But like, how do you just go "yoooo, guys. this thing is broken?"

I'm not going to sit on the phone to talk to someone. Really needs a button in Nav, or something.

And yeah, I still charged there (for a few minutes only). I like living dangerously.

My brother in law and his family are in Great Falls, VA and we visit maybe twice a year. Is that charger new? I could swear it wasn’t there before.

Yes, it's in the parking garage by Nordstroms. Behind where the bus stops are (2nd floor, off Fashion Blvd.). Opened a few months ago? Just before the Rivian showroom opened there, iirc.

Uh, see, over on Reddit, we use the slash-s (/s) at the end of a--less sincere remark--to indicate sarcasm. Otherwise people think you're serious and really will "follow your advice."

Yes. SOS contacts *RIVIAN*, not 911. If you have a "911 worthy emergency", Rivian will connect it through to 911. If it's a "Rivian vehicle/charger" problem, they connect you to the support team for that.

I was told to do this by a Rivian tech upgrading a RAN station.

I had stopped at the station two days earlier, the trailer stall was broken. I talked to mall security (because I had my trailer sticking out at one of the non-trailer stalls,) they said they had reported it to Rivian, so I didn't bother. Two days later on my way back the other way, I stopped again, and a Rivian tech was there doing maintenance on all of the stalls - he had already fixed the trailer stall. I chatted while charging, and he told me to use the SOS button for charger problems.
