If the plate started with a B its a temp plateI saw an R1T today in the parking lot of a local city park. I didn’t really want to pore over someone’s new car but it looked good. Real California plates too, not mfg or dlr or paper.Plate on the rear only. I saw it drive in under its own power![]()

Of the 4 that I have seen in SoCal, 3 have had stamped CA metal plates. The other had the yellow mfg plate. None were running front plates.Yes, but they look very much like a full metal plate at a glance.
