Hey everyone,

The Air Cruiser is back 🙌

We’ve got brand-new stock of the very latest model landing this February.

Since launch, the Air Cruiser has really taken the Rivian community by storm. We’ve seen a huge uptake, and for good reason — it’s genuinely a perfect match for the Rivian, with some real-world advantages over pretty much everything else out there.

For the long-time lurkers and snoopers, you’ll already know why the Air Cruiser stands apart from other RTTs on the market.
And if you have been lurking, there’s honestly no better time to buy.

Manufacturing costs have gone up across the board (as you’d expect), but for this first batch of the year we’re holding last year’s pricing. That means the Air Cruiser stays at $2,999, and we’re also keeping the special Rivian community discount of $600 — so you can get into one for $2,399 + delivery.

A quick heads-up though: most of this first drop is already reserved, so if you want one of the last remaining units, now’s the time to move. You can head to the website and reserve yours now.

👉 You can reserve yours here:

For anyone new to the Air Cruiser…

• A perfect fit for the Rivian truck bed, even leaving room for extra gear
• One of the lightest RTTs available, with little to no impact on range
Record-breaking headroom that completely changes the feel — more like a cabin on the bed than just a place to sleep
Game-changing packed size, making install and removal super easy
• A clean, modern aesthetic that really suits the Rivian

Setup and takedown are fully electric and automatic — just plug the Air Cruiser into your Rivian and it self-inflates. No poles, no faff, no messing about.

It’s also rock-solid in all weather, with added bonuses like excellent airflow thanks to the height and zero wind flap due to the air frame. It genuinely feels different to anything else out there — and it just works beautifully with the Rivian.

New updates for this model include:

• Larger windows and doors
• An updated lighting setup with external lighting
• A new NeoGlow light strip that creates a soft, continuous glow — perfect for camp
• Stealth black glow-in-the-dark ladders for easier night access

As always, I’m here if you’ve got any questions at all.

And once again — a big thank you to this community. I’ve added some great photos from last season below so you can see the Air Cruiser out in the wild 🤙

Have you contacted Rivian about getting this on the Gear Shop? I have a ton of referral points and I'm just waiting for the right RTT.

Hey Jake. Long time lurker... really considering it this year as I need to get off line and get into nature more for my sanity!
Question: What's the 13lb spec that is labeled Matters ? Is that a typo or something I just dont understand?

Probably mattress weight, given the context of the gross weight including mattress and ladder and ladder weight being listed below "Matters" weight.

We'd likely have to increase the price quite a bit to sell it on there but we will take a look.

This looks great, but I have 2 questions. First, what is that AC looking thing that shows up on the gear tunnel in the photo with the the green R1T? Second, does the rear side window zip open for large dog access? Thanks!

Some people don't like sleeping on the ground.

You're both right. but pragmatically the RTT price is a fraction of the Rivian and I'm not sure it's much more comfortable than the ground without some extra features (Cabin AC/heat into tent).

I used to take so much stuff camping solo (3 person tent, EXPED air mattress) it was ridiculous, so now I just choose the closest Ritz. Although that's 5-10 times the RTT.

It's horses for courses. I personally use both set ups still, a big family camp and it's a ground tent but if it's just me and the kids (5 year old twins) then it's an RTT all the way. We can camp in places you could never camp in a tent, the comfort, speed of set up and the elevated views. It feels like it's a completely different way to camp. They are both (ground and RTT) super ways to get out there. I feel like they are not comparable in so many ways though, people tend to directly compare and they are really different experiences for me. And sure, an RTT is expensive but in the grand scheme of things, if you get use out of it, they are incredibly cost effective when compared to hotels. I rocked up to a wedding last year and saved myself a few hundred $'s that night alone, I just set up in the car park, jumped in the Air cruiser at the end of the night and then drove off in the morning after a good breakfast.

P.S. An RTT is way more comfortable than a ground tent, even without AC/heat
