Yes looks like the expansion units can only be connected to the leader powerwall 3 inverter unit.

So four units together maximum. :( May as well get the CT.

Just park it in the back yard - no paint to worry about. Use it as a play structure. Watch out for raccoons.
I wonder how much money you could get back if you then removed anything but the HV System and related electronics and sold everything else as scrap...

Where are those numbers coming from for the X? I dont think they ever officially broke them out. They lump S,X, CT, Semi as others in reporting.
Go do your own search if you don't believe it. You can find those numbers all over google, wikipedia has those stats too. You can even download actual past quarterly and annual earning reports directly from both Tesla and Rivian.

Like tmbm50 said, Tesla has NEVER broken out separate numbers for the Model X since it was released. They were always combined with the Model S. Then they started lumping in the Semi with those numbers, then the Cybertruck.

So where did you get the separated Model X numbers? You provided them without giving a source to us, so the onus is on you to provide said source when asked.

I have read more Tesla annual reports than I care to admit. ModelX sales haven't been broken out in years.

And yes, Google ai results show a number but no evidence with an official source.

I don't deny the X sales are low, decreasing etc, but I wouldn't use hard numbers when Tesla doesn't report them.

Google AI's "official" source could be one person posting the same fake or assumed statistics on Reddit, Facebook, and on a few forums, and then a few people reposting it. That makes it fact as far as AI is concerned...... and it's why general purpose AI is leading to human brain rot and the dumbing down of AI itself.

Google! Oh and by the way you can still get the breakout of vehicle sales. There are many proxies to know this information. ie. when you register a vehicle with with the DMV it doesn't say could be an x, s or perhaps even a semi. It will specifically say which vehicle. If an autoparts supplier ships say 20k pieces of a part to Tesla which is a specific piece to only that vehicle like a windshield or something...then it's safe to say Tesla built 20k of said vehicle.
If you don't believe the numbers and you don't believe google....then you post the supposed real numbers for X vs S.
Bottom line is R1T and R1S sales have been declining the past 2-3 years. At least Elon has an excuse that he and Tesla have become Nazi's...So what's RJ's and Rivian's excuse for their poor performance and declining sales? (sarcasm)

When presenting data as evidence in an argument, it is incumbent on the one presenting said data to provide its source. You still haven't done that. Saying "just Google it" is not presenting your source.

Yes, we could go and research sales of Model X windshields or other parts specific to, but that doesn't tell us how many vehicles have been sold to consumers. It tells us how many parts Tesla have bought, nothing more.

It is nearly impossible to believe Google's top level results, as those are collected from so many unverifiable sources that they are essentially magic numbers (For example, Google's "AI" scrapes data from Reddit and considers it a verifiable source. Which I hope even you would consider BS.).

Once again, provide us with the source you have for the sales numbers specifically for the Model X. You brought that data point into the discussion, therefore you have a source. Just tell us what it is. It's that simple.

The Slobbertruck reminds me of the Simpsons episode many years ago where Homer's brother owned an auto company and allowed Homer to design a vehicle. They called it the Ultra Behemoth and the company quickly went bankrupt.

Vehicle registrations is the closest proxy to how many they sold. It does omit those that are bought for use on things like farms and factories or that are exported (e.g. to places like Saudi Arabia). It also doesn't count those that are sold to governments since those aren't registered through DMVs.

Parts is an OK proxy but there are also extras bought for testing, repairs, and failures. And manufacturers, even in these days of lean manufacturing, will always have some number of parts in stock which can distort the quarterly numbers - in either direction.

So yes, you can get a "pretty close" number from combining the the above. Which is why it's baffling to me that Tesla tries to keep the actual number secret by not breaking it out.
