Vehicle registrations is the closest proxy to how many they sold. It does omit those that are bought for use on things like farms and factories or that are exported (e.g. to places like Saudi Arabia). It also doesn't count those that are sold to governments since those aren't registered through DMVs.

How many US states make vehicle registration data public? I've not dove deep into this, as my interest has been in Washington State EV sales, and they have a specific data set for that. I've not looked at general vehicle registrations that much, however.

It's always - yes, if you suddenly, and inexplicably, became these things, I would very much still love you.

But if you started out that way? It would be hard to get over the initial shock.

This is how I feel about the Cybertruck. It has great tech. I am just weird enough to appreciate that the door panels are largely indestructible. But it was born hideous, and therefore, it cannot be loved.

I thought this might be Tesla’s response to the R2, but then their idiot CEO posted in the middle of the night that it would only last for 10 days. Doesn’t he even want to sell EVs anymore? I feel like he’s actively working against his own employees.

I cannot image anyone buying one of these. A couple of guys on my block bought them and they are both gone within two years. Just an embarrassing ride.

I would have to say to each his/her own; I just sold my R1S Trimax with Ascent interior and have on order a Cyberbeast. The full self-driving, fast-responsive screen, tight-solid feeling ride, lifetime free supercharging, steer by wire, 800 volt architecture, and vault of a bed (tonneau cover you can stand on) is what I love compared to my R1S (my wife has had an AWD Foundation Cybertruck for almost a year for my comparison).

They should temporarily lower the price of the other trims by $30,000 and "see how much interest there is out there" for a vehicle that hits their original price point. Of course the people who wanted the 500+ miles of range are still shit out of luck.

Yes looks like the expansion units can only be connected to the leader powerwall 3 inverter unit.

So four units together maximum. May as well get the CT.

Hold on. There can be up to four x PW3. In addition there can be three x expansion PW for a total of 96 kWh
