Is there a consensus tire for a swap to 21inch rolling diameter for a 20inch wheel?

Lately I've been having the urge to swap to an aftermarket 20inch rim...

Been reluctant to leave the 21 inch wheel efficiency behind.

Is there a clear tire available (preferably non AT) that has the same rolling diameter as the stock 21 scorpions for a 20inch wheel?

I tried to search but the keywords are just too varied to find something specific.

Any leads in the correct direction would be wonderful!

I was thinking this way for a while too, but the growing number of different tires available for the 21" wheels is keeping me from getting different wheels.

RivianTracker has a good guide on the available tires for all Rivian wheel sizes, and there are two clear non-Pirelli options - the Michelin & Hankook are getting good reviews here on the forum and in other places too.

I swapped my 21's for 20" Black Rhino Voltaic with Michelin Defender LTX M/S tires (275/60/20). I'm very happy with the way it drives. I do see a slight drop in efficiency though - 2.51 miles/kWh for 28k miles on the OEM Pirellis vs 2.46 for 7k miles so far on the Michelins.

This is a good thread to reference: https://www.rivianforums.com/forum/threads/most-efficient-20-tire.24126/

Also, Im not a fan of the search function on this site. I do a google search and it works much better, i.e. search for "most efficient 20 inch tire site:rivianforums.com". You don't need the quotes.

275/55R21 Michelin LTX MS/2 is most popular simply because it’s the first alternative to market. The others have only been available for a few months. You probably won’t find a tire that is as or more efficient than the factory Pirelli Verde AS. But the alternative AS tires are likely to last longer (compared the UTQG stats).

275/60R20 is virtually a drop-in for the 275/55R21 size (diameter to diameter).
That said, remember: you can 'replace' the tire in software (tire change) so that the computer accounts for it.

Regarding maintaining efficiency, you need to spec another all-season tire that has similar weight and rolling resistance (or better!).

THIS is a great resource for all things Rivian Tires: https://riviantrackr.com/rivian-tire-guide/

Thanks for the leads... I realize I can change the tire config in the system! just wanted to remain in the same general neighborhood and not change the rolling diameter. See if I can get more out of the Gen 1 quad with lighter wheels and but same diameter

This would be the current pipe dream... Mega Terra
