I have a raceface pad. I much prefer my rivian pad.
Is that because the rear light bar shows or something else? I did find the raceface being more padded and I happened to have some deliver it to my work for $120. I've used it for over an year now and it's been pretty sturdy

Curvature of R1T's tailgate. The Raceface pad doesn't account for it. Meant for conventional pickups, whose tailgates are flatter.

I’m in Oregon if your family isn’t closer. I’d be willing to take it to UPS for you if the shipping would be cheaper. Feel free to DM me.

Not sure when it started, but I found this Reddit post from Jan 2025 about it.

Did you get it shipped? To you happen to remember how it was packed?
Go to a service center close by and order/purchase one directly from them.

The Rivian tailgate pad is better than most pads out there

Thanks folks for all the responses. I tried going to the space in Palo Alto and they told me they didn't have any but they'd reach out to the other spaces and see if anyone did. Eventually .they let me know that none of the spaces in the Bay Area have any in stock and suggested to reach out to the sales advisor that helped me when I got the truck. I reached out the her and she just told me there were none in stock and to go with a 3rd party option.

I resorted to delivering it to my brother in New Mexico and he then sent it to me through FedEx. Annoying, but at least I got it.
