Maybe Performance is only considered worthy, since it has all the off-road drive modes.

Is the configurator out yet?

I don't think there will be a "configurator" in the same sense as the R1. Based on the "are you interested" prompt I'm thinking it'll be all Shop availability with access provided based on priority.

That is on the actual site. You can click on various trims under "Explore the lineup" and then their wheel options.

The Perf is the only one that has EPA ranges for both wheel/tire options.

The Standard and Premium don't have EPA ranges for optional wheel/tire, it just says estimate.

I'm guessing tri-motor is at least a year away since they haven't even talked about it. Seems like it's coming though.

So Performance is roughly exactly the same spec and price as the Model Y Performance (but R2 with longer range).

The lower two options are about 4-5k more than the Model Y. Might be a big enough difference to sway some to go with Model Y, but feels like the R2 is a significantly better vehicle especially considering how cheap the Model Y is built (TBD on how the R2 feels)

One thing that does make me happy is that the Tow Package includes a trailer brake controller - the tow package on my Model Y didn't have that & I had to have a separate controller installed when I bought my travel trailer...

The LE price is right where I expected it to be. The are offering a light interior so that works for me too. I just submitted for trade in details. So in “Spring 2026” I’ll be listing some R1 specific accessories for sale (spare tire/jack kit, all season matts etc)

Wish they would list interior dimensions. Hoping to be able to haul my bass gear to gigs without dropping the rear seats. First world problems, I know.

Sometime this year. It's been in our updates for some time just not accessible for anyone outside of Rivian.
