At one point I saw something about trucks need to be under $80K. Is that still the case? Do we need to fit in under $80K to get the credit?

As far as I know that has not changed. $80k is still the limit. So be careful which paint and wheels you choose:like:

There is no current MSRP limit. The $80k limit was a bill that is unlikely to pass in its current form.

Actually I was just reading in the Jan/ Feb Delivery thread the $80k limit only applies to the base MSRP of the vehicle. So it does not include color options, wheels, or camp kitchens. And I would assume that means it does not include the destination fee (?).

There is no 80k cap. Bill was proposed last year but didn’t pass. The soonest any new law will go in effect is likely 2023 at the earliest. Very unlikely they would make changes to the tax law mid year.

The proposed $80K limit was completely undefined as to what it was referring to. No mention of "base MSRP" was in any Bill proposed - only "MSRP" was referenced. If it would have passed, it would have then landed on the IRS to write the actual rules to implement what they interpreted the intent of the legislation to be.
