Thanks for posting - I hadn't seen that in any of the many Rivian emails I get. I can't wait to see an R2 in person, but it doesn't look like it will be in this wave. I'm sending a cousin to the Long Island event as my eyes, but it won't be the same as seeing it myself.

I'm really hoping that they ship an R2 to each Rivian Space early (KOP Please if you read this Rivian) so that we don't have to wait for a tour to see one. It seems to me that doing so would provide better exposure to the R2 line than selling them to employees beginning in June.

I just saw this on Reddit. Looks amazing! I wish they were doing something closer to me and in the summer when I actually have time to travel. The two closest locations to me are: Chicago, which is 5 hours and 15 minutes away and Nashville, which is 5 hours and 30 minutes away.

And to be fair. They never brought even the prototype to this area either so still never seen it in person.

Boston to Long Island is a mere 4 hour drive. By the time Rivian does all of these weekends they’ll likely have enough R2s to just send out to most locations to have a permanent R2.

Orlando? There's a few major EV events there already it's FL central, major airport, lots of Rivian intertest, two SCs right there.

It wouldn’t take that many vehicles to have at least one per space. Production has started this past week I understood and deliveries in June (less than 3 months) so having 35 available shouldn’t be that hard.

Disappointed to see them skipping Northern Virginia / DC region again though...
