Hi Jason @JC310DESIGNS ,

This looks super useful! I'm very interested. A couple quick questions...

1) Would you consider the tan in your "tan & black" option to reasonably match in a white interior (Gen 2 R1T, Ocean Coast)? Hard to tell by the photo, but it seems like the tan is subtle, more of an off-white than a very brown tan? Just asking to confirm it's not like a sandy army-tan in person.

2) Have you considered offering black hardware (screws) for the models with black sides, so the screws are a little less obvious? That might be neat.

Thanks for making such a cool product for the community.

Hi Dusty,

Thank you for the kind words, I really appreciate the support.

On the color, it’s definitely a bit subjective depending on lighting and personal perception. The “tan” I use is more of a subtle, lighter tone rather than a darker sandy or army-style tan. That said, I completely understand wanting to see how it pairs with Ocean Coast specifically. I’m actually picking up my truck from the service center tomorrow, so I’ll bring a tan piece with me and snap a few photos inside the interior for you. That should give a much better real-world comparison.

As for the hardware, I went with stainless steel screws primarily for durability and long-term wear. However, I do like your idea, and I can offer black oxide screws if you prefer a more subtle look with the black sides. Just let me know and I’ll make sure that’s what you get.

Thanks again for reaching out and for the feedback.

Best,

Jason, appreciate the words and the time/comparison, super helpful. I'll decide on black or a color here sometime soon and send you a message when I order, thanks!

Looks incredible! Been looking for a good solution for my wife's 40oz hydroflask and this looks slick. Order placed!

Would you consider selling the 3D file for us to print?

I appreciate you asking! I’m not offering the 3D files at this time, as I keep the design as a finished product. Thanks for understanding.

Jason:

Great looking design you have made here, had a question on dimensions of the storage areas:

What is the width/depth/height (excluding the use of any of the dividers) of the "upper" and "lower" storage pockets?

E.G.: Upper pocket is X inches wide by Y inches deep and Z inches tall and to front and back walls.

Would like to get an idea of what all I could stick in there. If, for example, the upper pocket is only 1" deep as measured from the wall shared with the lower pocket, I'll know ahead of time what will/will not fit. Think a mini flashlight that's 4" tall might easy tip out under acceleration if it's not very deep.

Thank you!

Jaybird,

Thank you for the inquiry. Here is a screenshot showing the dimensions of both the front and rear storage.

They both have a width of 211mm
Front has a height of 63mm
Rear has a height of 179mm. Just be aware there is a taper at the bottom.
Front length is 39mm
Rear length is 31mm

Let me know if you have any other questions.

Jason:

Thank you!

For those watching this thread, the dimensions in inches work out to:

(I did some slight rounding)

Width = 8.3"
Depth lower pocket (front-back) = 1.5"
Height lower pocket = 2.5"

Depth upper pocket = 1.22"
Height upper pocket =~7" (taper on bottom kind of skews it)

Confused on mm to inches? Here's the obligatory link to a SNL skit on weight and measures:

@Jaybird66

lol that skit is priceless. If you’re looking to hold the flashlight in one of the storage units I can probably print an adapter out of TPU to hold the flashlight into place. Is it the Rivian flashlight?

@JC310DESIGNS - Quick question: any chance you're considering adding a different color, like a neutral grey that would matched decently in the ocean coast interior?

(I just reopened your website and see the options got slimmed down, so I'm guessing this will be a bugs-bunny-meme 'no.' lol)

Dusty,

Sorry I haven’t forgotten about you. I found a stone grey color I thought might work. I will print out a small sample so you can compare it to your interior. DM or Email your address so I can send it out tomorrow.

My late review, this product is fantastic! It’s incredibly functional and enjoyable to set up in a space that usually becomes a catch-all for clutter and junk. It fits perfectly and looks like an OEM part. This is my third center organizer, and it’s likely my last. I might even upgrade If more colors options.

Jason is an honest and dedicated person who genuinely strives to make customers happy. I encountered a minor issue, and he promptly assisted me in returning the product. He even offered to cover the shipping costs. I insisted on paying for the shipping, but he graciously covered the cost to ship it back to me. I received it back very quickly. It’s rare to experience exceptional customer service these days.

Thanks, Jason!

Jason:

Not a Rivian flashlight, it's a Nebo I've had for some time now. IIRC, it has a clip on the side that should fit over the vertical surfaces.

Appreciate the offer though! Truck is getting some PPF and rock sliders installed this week, hoping to pull the trigger and ordering a unit from you soon!
