I know this one has been spotted before, but I stumbled upon it today in downtown Bend. The owner is a 2018 reservation holder and had it delivered to Bend in late December. I'm pleasantly surprised Rivian would deliver to Central Oregon given that there is no service center established anywhere near yet. I thought that was one of the delivery criteria. Makes me optimistic I'll receive my R1S later this year. Great to see in the wild!

Looks like they put some all-terrains on the 22”s! That’s pretty cool to see

Definitely different. Not sure how useful that combo is.

Cool cool. Yes this one has been around the forums. Curious, did you speak with the “original” purchaser personally?

Very briefly, yes. I was parked next to it and he got swarmed by quite a few people when he returned to his truck. I felt bad for him because it looked like he was trying to leave. Very gracious though.

Very cool! Did you happen to notice what type of shoes he/she was wearing?

Ha, no, which is weird for me. I worked at Nike for over 20 years, and that is something I typically do.

(Yes this particular owner’s footwear has been discussed on another thread.)

I'll mention it again, you should print out flyers for the forums and just tuck one under the windshield next time!

I’ve ”ignored” so many friggin threads that I may have ignored one unintentionally. What thread are you referring to?

Glad I'm not the only one going with full mud terrains on my Rivian. While rock crawling might not be the best on 22's, traction will be much better in the nasty stuff. I've tried all-terrains in the past and they simply don't compare to a good mud terrain when you need it.

Range has gotta be horrible with the heavy 22s and even heavier mud tires...

Well Rivian has been cryptic and tight lipped in just about everything related to customer communications, but one thing they have been consistent about is that there does not have to be a service center in an area for a delivery. They only thing they need is a mobile van service. No surprise to see one in an area with no service center.

I like the mud tires it makes the Rivian more truckish.
