Nope, they don't. Several others and I on this forum have just removed the plastic. Some followed the video instructions to make the cut outs, but if you take it out into some dirt/mud it fills up with or without holes. You really can't tell they aren't there unless you look underneath.

I'm pretty happy with the GOAT Fabrication sliders. Have you given those a look?

I guess I had something similar happen, but I normally unlock my R1 with the key fob when leaving the house. I noticed yesterday that the app would update with current info from the R1, but I couldn't do anything while the truck was sleeping. Once I woke it with the fob, everything in the app...
