June 9 - R2 order invites, first customer deliveries and demo drives begin!

The (brand new) Pittsburgh service center got their R2s last weekend, which I know because there was a stray still sitting in the parking lot when I happened to drive by on Sunday evening.

Other folks have since seen a few more in the service bay there, but they are not out in the actual showroom yet.

I'm hoping the fact that I'm a current owner + very close to a service center now + lease ending in a month means that I'll be in one of the first couple of batches. The only strike against me is that I didn't reserve until 3/15/24.

Tysons has a total of three one inside and two outside for test drives.

It's not June 9th....

Well I interpreted the word "has" literally - figured they could be present on-site even if not drivable until Tues 6/09.

No worries, wife has will have had French Toast waiting for me when I got home.

Most spaces are rolling them in Monday Night

I took a day off work on Mar 7th, 2024 so that I could make the reservation as soon as I could (and to watch the reveal). Looks like I might be feeling a stomach flu or cold coming on Tuesday....

Already worked out with my mother in law to come take the kids (summer break) to the pool on Tuesday if I can snag a slot in the app.

Bethel Park has 2-white, 1-Half moon grey & 1-Catalina Cove. I was able to see all of them this past Saturday when I test drove the R1.

I'm excited too... like a kid before Christmas. Except I don't know if I'm getting a present tomorrow or a proverbial lump of coal in my stocking. That kind of ups the anxiety factor.
