BMW finance heavily subsidizes rates. Since Rivian does not have a finance arm and uses Chase these are not bad rates. Also leasing hedges the bet on product problems.Oh now I see it, hahaha, yeah, that's a non-starter:

Our iX is ~0.8%, our Wrangler is ~0.7, just for comparison, the iX is a $100K MSRP, and total payment with tax is $815 (and it was first payment only DAS).

Is that with $0 down? My $0 down, 2025 R1S Max Pack Performance lease isn't much more than that.
Most third party lease companies will underwrite a lease on a NEW car within 30-60 days of purchase.. check out your local or national credit unions, they have better pricing on new vehicles.
Oh, I know, I've been leasing for decades. Won't do anymore outright purchases (especially in the EV space), so I'm pretty set on what I consider good leases anymore (and the last new I've used a broker, so zero hassle, delivery to my door).

No the advertised lease is with $3500 down. Total $5,724 due at signing, which includes down payment, deposit, acq fee, first payment.

So as expected lease rates will probably not be any good for a bit.
