R2 XPEL pricing has been added. The pricing went up and the price for the R2 appears to be the same as the R1. Starting at $5,995 for full vehicle Stealth. Not cool bro

I was really excited when I saw that Half Moon Grey R2 in a stealth wrap. And figured if the R1S was being advertised at $5,500 for the full body protection, then the R2 would probably be in the $4,500-4,700 range. That would have been somewhat doable. But I don't think I can pull the trigger on it at $5,995, it's just a bit too much.

Also, no idea how the R1S price went from $5,500 to $5,995 overnight for the same product.

I emailed them and this is for the precut kit and they do not lengthen the film to wrap edges, so the edges will be visible on every body panel. This is not a good value at $6K.

I spoke to our local XPEL installer here and was told the same thing about the edges. This is a terrible value.

Could a sweet spot for R2 PPF be just the front fascia (seam to seam, left to right), upper bumper, and mirror backs? Based on past experience, not too worried about general exposure or wear & tear on hood & windshield and further back - just the leading, blunt surfaces. Figure the Xpel guy skips the pre-cut nonsense and just cuts a roll in the shop, etc.?

Any real-world R1 experiences out there around this idea?
