Caprock looks interesting - has anyone tried this with the Rivian bars and the Thule crossbar kit yet? Curious how this works with an R1S in Large size and how easy it is to swap on/off the bars so I could toss a box up there instead of the platform as needed.

I've not paid attention recently, but always been interested in Thule/Yak towers and one-piece fixed crossbars for over the R1T bed.

IME, it would be more solid, provide for more gear options and dimensions, and allow integrated lockdown of gear and rack to the vehicle.

This over roof system also looks great.

I had it on my R1T, but i dont see any pics on R1S. Here is my R1T

I can imagine running a tire up there, it kills MPG in my old Land Cruiser … the range hit would be dramatic (and it’s a real PITA to get up there). Rack looks cool -
