^ Lol, that warranty info is completely incorrect and Tire Rack is aware of that fact,, they just have never corrected it.

Call Pirelli USA at 800-747-3554, they are very nice people, tell them you have a tire with"Rivian" stamped on the side and ask if there is a tread-wear warranty. Same for BF Goodrich. .give them a call.

As Arnold would say.. "do it, do it now!!" 😄

TR doesn't offer a warranty for any size of the Scorpion MS - it has nothing to do with Rivian or "OEM". Why would I call them when it's clear already?

I mentioned "call Pirelli or BFG" not TR. The warranties are always through the tire manufacturer not Tire Rack.

Anyway, if you have a few min to spare, give Pirelli a call, like I said they are very nice people right here in the USA and they'll get you up to speed on the "OEM" vs "non-OEM" tread-wear warranty stuff, BFG is the same as far as tread-wear on OEM stamped tires.

yeah I'm sure TR doesn't know what they are doing and leaves inaccurate info up on their website for extended periods of time....

OEM Goodyear tires also have no warranty, regardless of where you purchase them. I got them direct from Goodyear - no warranty.

Heard back from customer service. As expected, no treadlide warranty and “OEM tires have a Standard Manufacturer's Limited Warranty, which covers defects in workmanship and materials for the the life of the original usable tread, or for 6 years from date of purchase, whichever occurs first. “

pressing to try to get to somebody else to get an estimate on tread life. Not that I think they’ll commit.

More than zero, less than infinity.

Is that for Pirelli or BF Goodrich? or are both expected to be same in terms of workmanship defects?

This. Rivian didn’t make the tires. All questions/decisions regarding tire warranty falls on the tire manufacturer. They are the source. Ask the source.

Goodrich. Tire warranties for defects are usually about the same boilerplate on like for like tires OEM or otherwise.

You won’t ever get answers from anyone about tread life, because usage is a vast variable that no manufacturer is going to hold their own skin to.

So I did get a response- who promised to "push it up the chain..." not expecting an answer but who knows... Not holding my breath.
