Has anyone other than people who have input lease-end information seen their order windows pull in closer? Mine is September - November and has stayed solid for the past month. Anyone with that timeframe or later seen any movement?

no lease, mine has updated twice. My initial window was dec-feb, then I changed pref to launch and my window updated to 2-4 weeks on 7/7 then on 7/21 it changed to 1-2 weeks. I guess in theory I should get invite next week. I reserved day 1 during the announcement event.

Does anyone know how much of a window Rivian allows for actual delivery once the vehicle gets to the service center? I assume that they're willing to accommodate those of us who are traveling for work often and give us a week or so leeway

The text I got said I would be auto scheduled and then had 7 days to pickup.

That could be a real problem if that happens when we take our annual trip out of town for a week. It will depend on when they send my order availability and time frame for the delivery but since we schedule our week 6 months in advance, we're not likely to change that. Guess we'll see how it goes.

I wouldn’t worry about the schedule. I too am expecting delivery in the next two or three weeks. We will be out of town the last week in August; a delivery then will not work for us. I can’t machine it’s problematic If it’s paid for and it takes a days or two extra to pick up. They are far more concerned about people abandoning their purchase.

A lot better than Tesla. At least how they used to be. When we got our 2021 Y they gave us a VIN and then only gave us Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday the following week to choose. When we were scrambling to find a way to both get off work to drive 2.5 hours down there, they sent another message saying that since we didn’t choose quickly enough they gave our VIN to someone else and we had to wait for a new VIN. Thankfully when we got the new VIN a Saturday was one of the three choices.

Did that original window happen to be the last few days of a calendar quarter? Tesla would cram every single delivery possible into those last few days of the quarter, even sometimes letting owners come in and provide assistance with learning how to use the vehicle after the Tesla rep had done the financial part of the transaction. For example, September 28-30 of 2021 was a Tuesday-Thursday window. If you didn't agree to one of those right away, they would give the slot (and vehicle) to someone else that was more ready to make the purchase. Just guessing at why they were so picky on the timing.

No it was originally the week of Labor Day. Picked it up near the end of September. I knew someone else who went through the same thing a month or two later. When I got my Cybertruck in 2024 they gave me a three day window as well but i made sure I was ready to pick whatever they gave me

How/where do you see the weeks? Mine has only showed Aug-Sep since I was given my window.

The 2-4 week estimate replaced the Dec-February range for me. Shows up in the same place in account page and app, etc. they’ve also emailed and texted that info when it has changed.
