If you see my post above - I tested it last night with the Yankees game and it worked. I have a SiriusXM antenna on my Santa Fe. I went to Channel 94 and listened to the Yankees game.

I believe Lafayette made an after-market kit in the sixties to add FM (mono) to that unit. Might I suggest you turn the unit around and have the speakers face forward. The mid and high frequencies will sound cleaner. That will also allow you to change stations from the back seat instead of from outside the car. Hope that won't require an extension cord. In either facing you might be needing to change the tubes more often as the horizontal position will not allow as efficient of cooling, and the tubes also tend not to get along well with much off road jostling. Or, were you just joking?
