Just got my wheel/tire setup done on my Compass Yellow R1T. Quite happy with this look.

Was running these toyos on a previous set of 20s and was seeing a little range hit against the 22” stock pirellis but honestly not enough to care. Went for the voltaics as I was getting some rubbing below mid ride height and on bumps (incorrect offsets).

These toyos are super quiet for how aggressive they are and with the correct offsets on the voltaics I can run down to the lowest ride height with no issues.

Looking forward to getting these on the trail!

Anyone with same wheel/tires what range are you seeing long term? Positive/negatives of this setup?

Mine looks just like yours from that distance and I have a new set of 20" Les Schwab's that are so much quieter than the original Scorpions.

Bronze goes great with Compass Yellow.

Done is done... please post the good or bad on energy use.

You didn't mention if you got the SL's or LT's. I got the LT's a few weeks ago and have around 1k miles on them. I've done my 187 mile trip to camp twice in them, and my efficiency on both trips was at or above the best I ever got on the Pirelli's. There is a thread for both the SL and LT's for this tire if you search for them. I haven't seen anyone post they are getting efficiency numbers significantly below what they got on the Pirelli's for those that had both. For noise it isn't even close. These blow the Pirelli's away. In another month or so the grass will be growing, which for me means towing a zero turn on a ramp trailer on the 187 mile trip a couple of times of month. Been doing that for 2 summers with the Pirelli's so that's the next comparison.

I have the non EV AT3 in 285/50r22 load range E on my lighting and love them. Range hit is around 10-12% depending on weather. Not enough to care because I work in construction so the E’s definitely hold up great with regards to not picking up nails ect like the thin OEMs do. Will put these on the R1S probably when I wear out the scorpions.

LT (E) rating. Suggested due to the weight of the truck. (I actually had the non EVs on for a hot minute and saw a huge hit to efficiency. I was lucky enough that the shop allowed me to trade up to the EVs which were noticeably more efficient and quieter. Worth the few $100 more.

Thanks! I had the non-evs on for a minute and noticed a big hit to range/efficiency. Traded up to the EVs and they're easily as efficient of not more as the stock pirellis and much quieter to boot.

I have the same wheel color and tire combo. Mine are the 116 rated SL’s. Been through two southern Utah 4x4 Jamboree’s with a bunch of jeeps and have never had any issues! My factory wheels are the 22’s and I do notice a range hit. I average 2.2 with the 22 pirelli’s and about 1.95 on the 20” Toyo’s. Still great for an AT tire.
