I have the EV Sportline bed extender. It is light and well made. The price is great too.

Things to consider that may or may not affect you.
1. If used with their Soft Tonneau Cover you need to narrow it to ~45”. The Bed Extender brackets and Tonneau Cover make the spare tire storage inaccessible. EV Sportline states this but if you later decide to utilize the spare area you must uninstall the brackets.
2. If you need to load something into the truck bed with the Bed Extender removed, it can be hard to reinstall if your cargo blocks the Bed Extender, as the Bed Extender must go more than 100° backward (toward the cabin) to re-attach it.

Again it is a good price and well made but has some design choices that limit utilization.

Quick releases (Dzus type fastener, or aircraft pin, or something) for each bracket would solve both of these issues or greatly improve them.
Even if they reversed the slots so the Bed Extender only needed to rotate 45° to release instead of 120-135°, that would help.

It's the medium size (or mid-size truck) version using the provided hardware. It was fiddly to set up, and I don't have pics or anything. But it's fine once you get it set up.
I am thinking about getting a ready ramp... Based on measurements it looks like the tailgate will still stick out about a foot? Or does it effectively extend the entire perimeter?

You said it's fiddly to setup, is that just the first time? I need a ramp to load up kids' dirt bikes. Will it be a hassle setup as a ramp to load, then attach as an extender and then back as a ramp? (i.e. would I be better off just getting a ramp and not worry about using it as an extender?

Thanks for sharing your experience.

It doesn't extend totally to the edge, but not very far in. I've only used it as an extender once, mostly it's a ramp. It was fiddly to set up, not to use. You just have to figure out which pieces work on the truck, and the length and locations of straps. Once you get it, then they stay put even during storage.

I'm assuming this is the exact same thing? It's sold on Amazon by T Sportline, which I assume is the same company (T Sportline and EV Sportline).

https://www.amazon.com/No-Drill-Bolt-Extender-Rivian-Trucks/dp/B0DDY9XLM1/

Buying it directly from EV Sportline is the same price ($250), but they want $54 shipping. Buying it from T Sportline via Amazon has free shipping. Seems like a no-brainer. Or am I missing something?
