First Rivian - R1T Quad 2022 initial 15 day chaos

Took delivery 4/4
Drove it until Wednesday 4/8 when it went to the Service Department for strange motor sounds amongst a few other items.
needed new front drive unit
-how did the pre-sale inspection miss this? I’ve never owned one and I figured it out.
picked up from SC Friday 4/17
Saturday 4/18: motor fault (front) turtle mode
Did hard reset, fixed for now
Sunday 4/19: motor fault again
Back to SC: 4/19
I’ve the the vehicle for a whole 5 days and a few hours. The rest has been SC. No idea when it’ll be fixed.
thoughts form owners with R1T experience? Isolated incident, or problem child with a troubled future??

I cant speak to the issues you are having but I will say I have purchased 2 preowned rivians in the last few months from the same SC, and had 2 very different experiences. the first one was great my 23 r1s has been amazing no issues, the guide spent over an hour getting us setup and teaching us how to use the vehicle at delivery. However the second was a little different experience, they basically rushed us out after the paperwork was signed to make room for a new delivery appt that they had double booked. The car had multiple screen blackouts not 5 miles from the SC after delivery, and we received a Battery replacement recall notification before we even got home. I feel like this should have been taken care of prior to pickup. We also found 3 interior panels with broken clips that should be covered under warranty but were told we have to submit separate claims for each one to schedule an appt to be replaced. Not only that but the ocean coast interior was filthy, I couldnt believe how much better it looked after a quick wipe down with a damp cloth. its like they didnt even try to clean it. Point being Im not sure how much goes into the "Predelivery Inspection" but it seems there is some room for improvement on the preowned side.
