I have the electrochromatic roof and thought that would be enough protection. It's not.

The VION R1S main sunshade comes in two parts which is very convenient since you can just leave the second row shade in place and leave the front uncovered if you prefer. They do make a massive difference in the amount of sunlight and heat getting reduced in the cabin which certainly helps on longer summer trips and saves you some juice due to reduced cooling loads.
