I created this product after going on a camping trip with my kids. We wanted to make great memories together, but one of the biggest issues we faced was the lack of privacy inside the car—it made the experience uncomfortable.

When I looked for solutions, I found that similar products on the market were either very expensive or lacking in quality. So I decided to make one myself. It also became a great opportunity to do a hands-on craft project with my kids.

In the beginning, I had to make everything myself to ensure the quality met my standards. The most important factors for me were premium materials and durability, so I sourced high-quality materials directly from South Korea.

I also designed the shades so that even when they are installed, you can still open the windows for ventilation. When not in use, the shades can be folded and easily stored in the trunk.

Great price. If I still had my R1S I would buy it. I made mine from 1/2 inch styrofoam insulation and painted them black. Hope you make R2 version soon

I am concerned that the suction cups will damage the window tint film.

I’ve personally used these window shades for over 8 months without any issues. In most cases, they won’t affect your tint at all. However, if the tint is low quality or was improperly applied, there is a possibility that suction cups could cause damage.

How do you open the windows with them installed if they are suction cupped to the windows?

When designing this product, I took the vehicle’s interior air circulation into consideration. As you can see in the photos, the suction cups on the rear window are positioned about 2 inches above the bottom edge. This allows you to open the window up to approximately 1.5 inches while the product is still attached.

The same applies to the front window. However, due to the shape of the glass, you may need to remove the suction cups at the corners. As shown in the photos, the suction cups can be easily detached by pulling on the ring.
