I think it's accurate. I'm one of them: max pack ordered three years ago (7/2020). I live quite close to the factory. I think the R1S is just now ramping up, so I'm sure some of them are waiting. (My dentist has a sharp-looking GW R1S.) Others who might be waiting are those who live too far...

Interestingly, I removed PPF from my max pack order (just to speed things up), and my estimated date did NOT change to “processing“ like it did last quarter when I changed something.

Yep. Ordered a quad max with powered tonneau 3 years ago, and earlier this year Rivian switched it to a dual max (performance) with manual tonneau. I changed to non-performance dual max before the April cutoff and am sitting at Aug/Sept 2023 for delivery.
