Rivian investor and owner here for full disclosure. Just got my daughter a Model 3 Dual Motor. Love my Rivian R1S (3rd Rivian btw) and haven't found anything else I'd like to drive instead but this inexpensive Tesla is super quiet, rides incredibly and is ridiculously fast. The kicker is how...
I had this happen too. No Apple Music , Amazon or Tidal. No access to internet either. Soft reset didn't work. Hard reset worked for a day and now it's back to its useless state. My subscription is paid until October 2025. I'm really hoping that the next update fixes what this last update...
I'm surprised that they're promoting a solid rear axle as a positive. It's great for drag racing but ride handling will suffer in the absence of IRS. Rivian has a 10,000lb tow rating with IRS so I'm not sure why they cheaped out with a solid axle. Love the looks though.
I rented the Rubicon 4xe in Montana for a month. It was dependable and performed well but I couldn't wait to get back to the power and smoothness of my Rivian. My family didn't have as much room in the Jeep either so I got to hear that. The range of the Jeep was nice though especially when...
After hurricane Ian there were several EVs that ignited. A Tesla parked in a garage under a condo on Marco Island burned and caused the entire structure to be condemned (heat to the rebar and concrete). That caused new condo association bylaws to prevent parking electric vehicles beneath some...
I'm pretty sure it's your driving that's setting people off. I live in SWF and usually get nothing but positive responses to my R1S. There are a few that are unaware that it's electric and have some uneducated range comment when they find out. You have to be a complete a$$hat to be driving to...
The R1's look terribly under tired without the 20's (tyred for any Bits out there) and the extra 1" in tire height and extra 1" in tire width make the vehicle look less Bambi like. The improvement in ride is noticeable when the road is rough. Tire noise is greater with the more aggressive...
My buddies R1T glass cracked and about a week later my R1S cracked. Mine is just at the edge, his extended like yours. I’d be so much happier with a metal roof or carbon panel to fill the glass
I've had 3 R1's for over 60,000 miles of trouble free driving . Not an issue with any of them. It'd be nice if people would base opinion on the norms vs exception. If proven reliability is your number one concern buy a Honda. If state of the art performance from a relatively new company is more...
