My 2023 G1 Dual R1T with 24k miles is making the exact same "tocking" sounds from the front left drive axle (and getting louder every day it seems) and my SC appointment isn't until the end of August.. sigh.

Well, in our case, the drama is caused by Rivian when they make it difficult to replace the 12v battery ourselves, and expansive if we go to a Rivian CS..

Odd/funny that Rivian was not mentioned in the article for having 12v battery issues as well.

I was not able to access the cameras or any other functions except lock/unlock the last two days.. a reboot of my android phone this morning seems to have solved the issue.

I'd be very careful (i.e., measure before using) the 10" drop to ensure you don't bottom out on the uneven roadways or ramps while pulling.

Will be interesting to see if they fix it under warranty.

There have been a number of threads on this topic... yes, most of us agree the volume control (levels) needs refinement. The low end steps are way too coarse. I'd like it to take maybe 5 steps to get to a comfortable level.

The new headlights are one of the (very) few key reasons I'd sell my G1T for a G2T.

Mine are working just fine.. odd. I will say that the default setting is way too low and need to be adjusted up a bit.

So, to be clear, the 12v output connector on the solar panel is the same style and polarity as the ODB port cable connector..?

Definitely not a good sign. Did you make a down payment on your pre-order? Designing a completely new product from scratch does take a lot of time and multiple iterations. So delays are to be expected. The hope would be that the manufacture would be transparent on the delays. ..but then...
