  1. Gen 1 R1T: 37K mile maintenance benchmark

My 2023 G1 Dual R1T with 24k miles is making the exact same "tocking" sounds from the front left drive axle (and getting louder every day it seems) and my SC appointment isn't until the end of August.. sigh.
  2. Toyota 12V problems

Well, in our case, the drama is caused by Rivian when they make it difficult to replace the 12v battery ourselves, and expansive if we go to a Rivian CS..
  3. Toyota 12V problems

Odd/funny that Rivian was not mentioned in the article for having 12v battery issues as well.
  4. Android App Issue - EDIT Rivian issue, fixed many hours later

I was not able to access the cameras or any other functions except lock/unlock the last two days.. a reboot of my android phone this morning seems to have solved the issue.
  5. New RAN in Durango

Looks like Ska Brewing is a few blocks to the west.. :like:
  6. TOWING: Hitch Receiver? What are you using? RIVIAN has the hitch receiver sunk an extra 2" deep because of that stupid bumper....

I'd be very careful (i.e., measure before using) the 10" drop to ensure you don't bottom out on the uneven roadways or ramps while pulling.
  7. Front driver-side camera - water ingress

Will be interesting to see if they fix it under warranty.
  8. Reboot Frequency

Whenever any odd behavior occurs.. maybe once every two/three months or so.
  9. Radio volume control should be better by now

There have been a number of threads on this topic... yes, most of us agree the volume control (levels) needs refinement. The low end steps are way too coarse. I'd like it to take maybe 5 steps to get to a comfortable level.
  10. Proof ID notary process is terrible

I'm glad to hear Rivian has worked out the kinks of the identification validation process.
  11. This can’t be normal… Loud breaking free sound after truck sits stationary for a while… VIDEO

My 2023 G1 Dual Perf R1T makes all of these noises and more clunking than ever since the last update (maybe a coincidence). I am going to make a SC appt to check it out. Just too much knocking, creaking and other noises (all moving/suspension related). It drives fine (no errors), but wow is...
  12. Rivian Leads The Way - Headlights

The new headlights are one of the (very) few key reasons I'd sell my G1T for a G2T.
  13. Mirror Tilt Not Working Correctly

Mine are working just fine.. odd. I will say that the default setting is way too low and need to be adjusted up a bit.
  14. Vampire Drain Fix: How to solve in under a minute (indoor or outdoor)

So, to be clear, the 12v output connector on the solar panel is the same style and polarity as the ODB port cable connector..?
  15. Is Electrified Overland a scam?

Definitely not a good sign. Did you make a down payment on your pre-order? Designing a completely new product from scratch does take a lot of time and multiple iterations. So delays are to be expected. The hope would be that the manufacture would be transparent on the delays. ..but then...
  16. New Wheel/Tire set up: Toyo Open Country AT3 EV LT275/65R20 126/123S E to compare them to my Falken Wildpeak A/T4W

The tires look great. These are on my short list, so I will be interested in hearing how they perform, both offroad and any impacts to efficiency.
  17. Nothing to see here

Not surprised at all, it was only a matter of time.
  18. Rivian R1S Running Board Install - Help me understand plastic hole cutting

When I installed my EV running boards i did two things.. 1) I used the 'slot' templates, not the 'circle' templates to reduce the chance of impacting the puck access covers; 2) I did not use the paper templates themselves as the measuring tool, I used the decimal inch measurements noted on...
  19. Rivian recommended maintenance schedule

No. Go to Discount Tire and get the rotation for free. skip the rest.
