I'm not an electrician, however I believe if that is indeed a 277v panel, it is most likely being feed from a 480v 3 phase panel upstream and is intended for commercial lighting or industrial uses.
You will need a 277v -> 240v transformer and then a new breaker panel before you can install the...
The horn on my G1 R1T was lame so I added a Hella Red Trumpet High horn as a second horn. Now I can hear it! Its tucked out of the way using a plug compatible wye cable and pigtail connected to the new horn which is tucked out of the way on the driver's side. Very clean.
There is an easy fix.. just set your charge limit higher, into the 'slow' range.. then you have ample time to get to the vehicle. If I'm going to be leaving my vehicle to eat.. or some quick shopping, I set the charger limit to 85% or higher. Then if I am late getting back, when it hits 80%...
Agreed. This is an annoying 'feature' that needs to be removed. I often exit my vehicle with the radio playing either music I want to hear or talk radio that I am listening to. It's frustrating when the volume instantly drops out. At the least, make it an optional system setting choice.
Yes! this happened to me a few days ago... couldn't run it on at all, and yes I heard the clicking too. (of course it was a hot day..). Called Rivian Service.. they were no help except to schedule an appointment 2 months from now. I did mark the event with Service Diagnostics multiple times...
I agree with the OP as well, in fact I posted a suggestion on RivianTracker that we need a button to tilt the mirrors when desired. (If you don't select the option to tilt the mirrors automatically, there is no way to to it manually.)
These!
Especially the USB audio function.. it really can't be that hard to do. I'm tired of Apple Music stopping when I loose cell service (yes it happens often where I am) and not starting back up. And using Bluetooth is just a pain in the a$$.
I have a '23 R1T Dual with the same clunking noises upfront.. yes, it might be slightly different cause due to the different drivetrain . Its going in later this month to (Hopefully) fix it. I'm sad to hear it comes back. I hope not.
If these are the Chargers next to the REI.. I hope they place the cables on the correct side this time... I stopped there last summer and found the units installed incorrectly.. I notified Rivian after I got home from my trip.
Try searching on GMRS and R1S. I think there are several past posts of owners installing GMRS radios in an R1S.. at least one owner mounted the main radio unit in the back.
