    Has anyone purchased their Gen2 R1S and did all the paperwork for state/federal tax credits? No binding preorder or anything, regular purchase. I've been through several sites already but don't really know what to do, where to submit paperwork etc.

    Lucky you indeed! I had a Canyon Red Dual Max custom order since early June and switched to White this week as I didn’t want to wait any longer.

    Yeah that’ll go into a longer learning & ranting thread. The short version: performance upgrade will be a software update later, dark out and other things can also be done later. Stripped down my build.

    I just canceled my custom order and switched to an entirely different configuration after learning tons more about the vehicle from another sales person. F&F discount & referral code still make this a win.

    Congrats! After "very optimistic September delivery" it's now early October delivery which throws me out of the F&F discount. Talking to the service center if we can make delivery happen in September.

    Paid the full reservation fee back in June and it’s non refundable. Apparently the car is finally through assembly so I don’t want to push this out any longer.

    If people have to wait that long for their config, why punish them even more?
