I've had all options from both.
Last time from Rivian it was Uber credits, which for me (we have a spare car or two) is great. This time around it wasn't an option, so the rental 'experience' was the only option. Uber credits would have cost Rivian ~$40. Enterprise is $462. Maybe they can a...
I chatted into regular Rivian support (since the service center messaging still doesn't work) for an update...after the usual who are you and what do you need back and forth, the agent went off to get more info. At that time, I got a call from Rivian, I answered, assuming it was the agent, but...
Plus I thought the tonneau cover was field-replaceable, but I guess not. If my truck is outside, which it probably is, then it's the first time it's been parked outside for any length of time. I'll be checking for dings, as I'm 100% sure it was delivered ding-less.
Luckly their parking lot is...
Please reach out to support on this, they'll be able to help. My magnetic disk is still in place after a couple of Texas summers, although the truck isn't outside a lot. There's no option to tuck it under the headliner unfortunately, the gaps around the headliner vary considerably, so what works...
So, just 705 days after taking deliver of our R1T, it was finally booked in to get the tonneau cover replaced (the original never worked).
The drop-off, was, um, eventful, my twitter rant about it is here. It's all first-world problems, so there's no need to read it, but today I get a message...
No. The only cut-outs are for the logo badges on the frunk (and c-pillars on R1S), and even then, the badges are removed and reapplied over the top of the edges of the PPF cutout. Got ours done ages ago, zero regrets, still looks great, so easy to keep clean.
That just means it's Qi-charging capable through the case. Magsafe compatibility includes the ability to magnetically adhere to the charger, and there's so many cases out there it's impossible for any vendor to know for sure, but, if it's marketed as Magsafe, then there will be a steel or...
Yeah. Because ours was delivered disabled back in '22, there's no 'service item' for it. When I last called at the end of November, they said to expect something to be scheduled before the end of the year. Really just want to make sure we're still on the radar.
Not seen that before, I guess no surprise though. Would have been a 'bumpy' ride for the occupants, but no cabin intrusion, windshield cracked but stayed in place. Guardrails have long been insufficient for a lot of what's on the road, an F250 is 5700-7600lbs (unloaded), so it's not just an EV...
I have one that's been used once (not on a car, on a sample board so I could match vinyl colors to it). We're mid-cities (76021), also happy to drop it in the mail, if you're local, it should show up by Tuesday.
Morning all
So a bit of background, Rivian "IP Protection" asked us to remove the 6 products in question. We knew we were walking a thin line, and we've been around this block many times with Tesla. In the past, Rivian has used a 3rd party company that just used bots to look for matching...
