You got me. I'll have to dig into the logs. Generally Unifi is pretty accurate. Maybe I'm just a super special case and am going to have numerous issues LOL
If you sign up for electrafi.com they support software notifications when your truck gets the nod to start downloading it. As for network traffic, I have a unifi system at home and can monitor individual clients for network activity.
Pretty excited about low regen myself. More excited about that than anything else. My wife refuses to drive the truck because the regen on normal is so aggressive.
This is my #1 grief with the truck right now. It's fine with a jet ski trailer I can move around and land on the ball by hand, but my boat trailer is a finicky one and requires an almost perfect alignment for the hitch to drop on the ball. Those with a shorelander will understand the pain ;)...
If you need to drive it for any distance, you can use rescue tape wrapped around the boot to temporarily seal it and keep whatever grease you have left. They sell RT at most auto parts stores.

Oh, and CarPlay locking up and freezing the phone in the middle of navigation is the most frustrating experience one can have. Especially when traveling a new city. And it happens far too often.
Both of my family’s BMWs have CarPlay and I enjoy using it. Arguably, the BMW in car and maps are meh except for the iDrive knob. That knob I really like. Hence why I spend most my time in CarPlay when in the BMWs.
Would it be nice to have the choice, definitely. Was it a deal breaker, not...
Towing our ski I averaged about 1.9-2.1 kw/h. Overall range drop of about 40mi on an 80% charge. 1000# does have an impact.
That said, I don’t think you can rely on the range estimates with a small trailer like this at first. I think it underestimates range as it learns.
Yes, in most states you pay the taxes on the full price of the car, then if you buy out you pay taxes on the buy out price. In a lease you don’t own the car so technically it is considered a purchase.
Now in regard to 0 down, that’s not common. Usually for a lease you have to pay the taxes...
From what i've been reading, you aren't the only one who's had trouble up in Gaithersburg. With time, these things should get sorted out. I had a good experience with purchase pickup in Richmond, and am hoping the same will hold true for an upcoming service appointment.
Having lived in the...
If you get a payoff estimate from Chase, it will show you the exact amount you would owe at the time you want to buy it out.
In most scenarios, the gotcha is that you'll have to pay taxes again when you buy out the lease. This can be a large sum of money depending on your state.
This is a tough problem to have. Parts availability/logistics, technicians trained on and willing to work on EVs, and competition with legacy dealerships who've been in business for 50+ years.
It would be easy to justify building out a more extensive service network if there was profitability...
Yeah, following. They did give me truck plates, and I have no visibility into the plate inside of the VA DMV site. It's been at least 10 years since we leased anything, so I guess I'll figure it out eventually ;).
Luckily we're not inside FF County... the federales up there are hard to deal...
