Yikes, that seems a bit much but I guess there is some possibility of damaging the existing wrap.
They really do look nice though. Hopefully you can find a way to get them on soon
Chrome Delete (roofline, front and rear lower bumper panels - front needs to be done again so I'll be back for that after upcoming vacation)
Full stealth wrap
Ceramic coat everything
Ceramic tint windshield and fronts (verylight, just for UV/heat rejection)
Total was 11k. Not cheap, not the...
Depends, you can't get it done both ways - they can cut around the badging but it WILL leave a visible gap, or most quality places will remove and store the badges, fully wrap under them and then reapply on top - mine was completely debadged and then redone with the Abstract Ocean (no ties, and...
Hey all, here's the link to the (near) final results! Thanks again for weighing in!

Well, it took almost exactly one year to get it done (and it's still not done yet - there's one more piece that needs to be wrapped gloss black up front, but that'll be handled in a few weeks. All the same, it's finally done so I wanted to share!
Thanks again everyone, talked with the installer today, they're making good progress, and we covered door handles and a few other items. All should be good. I'll likely post pics once I get it back in a different thread, but I'll link it from here for completeness.
This was my thought, but him bringing it up as a question made me want to do a bit more research. I have time before I have to make the call but wanted to see what others have been doing - again with a gloss wrap I'd not really care as much, I just worry it'll look ridiculous with matte - but if...
Question for those who have done it - My R1S is actively getting a stealth/matte wrap and the installer had raised the question of wrapping or not wrapping the door handles. My assumption was that like - you wrap everything, always. But I can understand that with the usage and wear and tear...
That's my assumption as well, somehow it's reading the shadow/light change as an "object" of some kind obstructing the road - might just be an issue with exposure/dynamic range of the front camera - where it dials things way down for the sun, but that causes the shadowy parts to appear very...
I have had a few phantom braking moments - most often seem tied to approaching an overpass, not sure why, but that seems to be when I've noticed the events, I suspect it might have something to do with the shadow being cast on the road surface (depending on time of day and direction of travel)...
was a warranty repair, so no idea. Was $0 - as is the repair today to fix the driver's side bluetooth and air compressor system that were affected by and after the battery swap...
It was replaced with the same, strange, tiny, totally specific form-factor, battery and capacitor as before.
It really does boggle me that there isn't some failsafe step-down converter for the sake of emergencies where the main pack can supply 12v - even if only at "life-support" levels to...
