I haven't yet. I was expecting to get it for xmas but it was still out of stock - it's IN stock now and I'd just buy it but my b-day is coming up and I don't want to take away a gift option from the person who was going to get it for xmas :D so... I'm kinda stuck waiting
I made this up to hold NACS adapters at the bottom of the center console - might need a little tweaking to clear (I think it's about 135mm tall, but it's easy to slice that off and make it fit I would think:

Just to close this out and for anyone's future reference, I was able to get an answer over on the Rivian Discord:
Based on that info I think this will clear my adapter dock. I haven't had a chance to go measure myself IN the vehicle yet, but I know the highest part of my adapter dock is at...
Thanks! That's great. But ideally I'm still looking for the dimensions of the OEM organizer as I'd rather just buy that if possible and not have to worry about building/customizing/printing my own version.
If I need to go that route this model will definitely help, but I can just get the OEM...
Does anyone who might have purchased the console organizer from Rivian have the time to take a few measurements of it?
Mostly I am looking for the "height" like how tall it is, or really how deeply it goes down into the console. Actually, more specifically, is how much space there is below it...
Almost certainly it won't if it's similar to any of the other 12v issues most folks have seen. But I bet the SC finds a way to make a mobile appt THEN - sadly.
Hopefully you can work something out before it actually bricks. Until then I'd make sure to keep it somewhere with easy access just in...
It's really not about the frequency of use for me, just about a "compact" way to be prepared for whatever charging infrastructure you might need to use on the road. I specifically DON'T want to have to open the frunk and dig around in there or have to clear things out of the way to get to...
PETG would probably be good but PA-CF would probably work as well.
I think you might want to modify the design a bit more to have the outer gussets go the full length/height (unless I have you confused with the other person who wanted to mount it in the frunk?). But if you're planning to use...
Thanks @NY_Rob!
Also-
If anyone uses this for a different L3 adapter (A2Z or whatever) or a different L2/destination adapter please report back with results. I suspect that a lot will "just work" unless it's a design that intentionally really deviates from standard, but it would be nice to...
Make sure if you're putting this in the frunk or bed to use a proper filament that can handle the UV exposure/heat like Nylon, ABS, polycarbonate, or similar. Otherwise it WILL warp under the weight of both adapters (or even just the L3 adapter as it's a chonky boy).
While the console version...
Updated model has been published. Didn't get new photos but the 3D model preview is accurate. Was able to get a little additional space on the storage side of the divider (~2" now) by tweaking angles and positions of the adapter mounts...
Will probably drop them tomorrow, got tied up in a few other things and only printing the revised version now - which won't be done for 4.5 more hours...
So I likely won't be able to test it out till the morning, if all looks good I'll update here when I post them
I will likely be making a few tweaks today and I want to test those out - nothing major just some optimizations for spacing/positioning to get just a little extra space on the open side of the divider and I think I'm going to add some ribs to the divider just for some extra reinforcement.
I'll...
Put this together today after finally getting my supercharger adapter from Rivian.
I don't really stuff the center console with anything aside from a few spare charging cables and some basic paperwork so it was pretty much always just a gaping cavern.
I figured this was a better use for it and...
I do find the pedal a bit spongey, I don't think that's an unfair statement. But in the times I've needed to use it - which are NOT on a track, or a skidpad... I've always found the braking I needed. But I would agree that they are soft and not communicative, but as others have said, it's also a...
