Looks great! And you mean not everyone's center console is filled with painkillers, like mine? ??
Not RIGHT THIS SECOND. Because the bottle in the house to be refilled.

Make sure if you're putting this in the frunk or bed to use a proper filament that can handle the UV exposure/heat like Nylon, ABS, polycarbonate, or similar. Otherwise it WILL warp under the weight of both adapters (or even just the L3 adapter as it's a chonky boy).

While the console version can still be subject to high heat, being down in the dark, gloomy bottom of the console, and supporting most of the weight just straight down on the base means PLA or others are likely fine and wouldn't warp/deform in any significant way that would be detrimental. Even if the cabin surfaces exposed to sunlight are at 120-140 degrees, it's likely going to be (a bit - enough) cooler down in the console.
I'm printing it in PLA, along with a bunch of other Rivian yellow PLA parts. Stupid? Sure. It's an experiment, and I want to see what happens. I've wasted $2 when they fail. Otherwise, I'd use PA-CF like I did for my CarPlay mount, it's solid and stable. I've never used PETG but have some coming to maybe try that on some parts. PA-CF is my go-to "hard" filament.

Nice idea if you're using that many Tesla-based chargers. However, this would never work in my truck as these adapters would fill the space in that magic cubby where the dog treats are kept!

PETG would probably be good but PA-CF would probably work as well.

I think you might want to modify the design a bit more to have the outer gussets go the full length/height (unless I have you confused with the other person who wanted to mount it in the frunk?). But if you're planning to use the divider wall as the mounting surface - regardless of filament type, I'd add some more reinforcement there. I was making it just kind of enough to add a little rigidity against the weight of things on the other side of the divider, but having the weight of both adapters off it I'd be a little worried with any filament once it got hot that it would start to sag - both adapters together weigh a fair bit and this design was meant to "sit" on something.

I can likely revise my original design for the side mounting in the frunk, I'll just need to look at how it could fit in there and actually "engineer" something to slot in somewhere "with intent" - and add the required reinforcement for that kind of mounting solution. But if you have ideas and test it out let me know what you think would make sense. It'll speed things up

It's really not about the frequency of use for me, just about a "compact" way to be prepared for whatever charging infrastructure you might need to use on the road. I specifically DON'T want to have to open the frunk and dig around in there or have to clear things out of the way to get to something down in the bottom. For me, I barely have anything aside from a few extra USB cables, pens, and a little paperwork in the console, so it made for a good way to use that wasted space and have the adapters right at hand. I can just grab it, jump out, and start charging.

But you make a fair point... dog treats could be of higher value for many ;)

That would be awesome as my design skills are comparable to a brain damaged howler monkey. I'll go try some possible positions today. I haven't looked yet, and my printer is still making kid's stuff for halloween.

Neighbor texts and asks “what are you doing.”

I’m in the shop drilling buttholes into 3D printed rubber spiders.” <silence>
