Anyone know if a vehicle update reboots the vehicle? I’ve never done a reboot myself but assumed the monthly updates were performing a reboot.

I find the prior 15-minute graph very helpful and accurate. Massive swings based off how heavy I am with the pedal, incline/decline and regen usage. Seems to be just a slight delay on the right side of the chart, maybe 5 seconds in my experience. My driving actions are represented in the graph...

I dedicated a schedule slot just for random departures that don’t follow a consistent schedule. Just takes a few seconds to enable with desired departure time.

They have the framework in place already with Halloween mode. It shouldn’t be starting from scratch other than imagery. Unless they didn’t establish a reusable framework.

People with issues tend to post more in my experience. I had the same initial worries as you did since I’ve been on this forum for so long. But count me as a new R1S owner who couldn’t be happier after 1 month.

Surprised the OP is already due for inspection. I haven’t received my TX plates yet, but thought new vehicle stickers were good for 2 years. Maybe ICE only?

Amended return accepted by IRS on 6/13, check received 7/5. Strangely status doesn’t show Completed, still at Adjusted.

I’m new to EV charging. I attempted to use the portable charger on a regular wall outlet while traveling (120V), but the circuit kept tripping. Reading your post, it sounds as if I need to “dial down the amp setting” in the Rivian. What is the safe value to use, 20A?

I’m in Austin and not experiencing the AC issue in my first 10 days of R1S ownership… yet. It’s been 100+ every day.

In TX where we have regularly been above 100 degrees this past week (I took R1S delivery on Tuesday). No excessive AC noise at this point. AC temp set to 69 degrees, recirculation on.

Couldn’t agree more with this statement. They knew everything about what Rivian expects. I was also fortunate to lock in in mid May before the recent rate hikes. Took delivery 3 days ago.

Is the water an expected byproduct of condensation or cooling of the hot batteries? In TX heat and noticing quite a bit each time I park after driving. Assuming it is expected behavior, but I’m sensitive to potential AC issues since my delivery 2 days ago. We spent 15 minutes inside the vehicle...

I ordered my R1S from the shop 5/13. Received wall charger 5/25. Take delivery 6/13.

I thought the OP mentioned Canvasback was monitoring this thread. I would probably be interested in the tub-like design as well. One of our large dogs has a tendency to lose his lunch on trips over an hour.

Also in Austin. I locked in on one in the R1S shop on 5/13, shipping from Normal. I was told 4 weeks given shipping process.
