In that case, why sweat the small stuff. Enjoy the fact you will receive a customized order. A lot of people go the shop route, but you can say yours was a custom build. Rivian needs to make a buck. And lots of companies out there have promos that aren’t retroactive.

No other car company does this. They likely did when you couldn't test drive and try it out. And they have a four year 4 warranty (8 on batteries) so this will cover any issues. Yes some cars have issues but they will be resolved. But not buying a car because you don't have the option to back...

No they weren’t bailed out. Yes it helped but they could have gone to the market next year for more funds if needed, and if they do in fact turn GM positive in fourth quarter or close, this is light years ahead of Ford, GM etc.

Everytime I see a Ford press release I get the impression they ‘know it all’ but they are struggling with the EV transition and relying increasingly on ICE. Methinks they are more muddling through.
